So listen up, I said in my head.
You gotta use what you what you got, and play like no-one else.
I play a harp that's a start but it won't get me far,
Gotta make this shit real but keep it straight from the heart.

I might not be quite prepared.
I write my songs on the day but I'm guessing that no-one cares.
So if you see me on the street and you don't like what you see,
like the Beatles said, just let it be.
